A Legacy Of Engineering Case Packers, Since 1945
Our case packers are designed to enhance packaging line efficiency with precision, speed, and gentle handling for a variety of products, including bottles and plastic containers. We offer top-load, wrap-around, and continuous-motion systems for versatile compatibility and delicate control for pressure-sensitive containers. Additionally, we offer auxiliary equipment such as laners, case-top sealers, and decasers that seamlessly pair with our case packing systems.

- Case-Top Sealing
Uses intermittent motion to place products into cases from above, offering maximum flexibility across a wide range of products and pack configurations. This approach is ideal for operations that have multiple products or varying pack patterns. The accessible machine design supports fast changeovers and reliable performance for evolving production needs.
Forms, loads, and seals cases in one continuous, fully synchronized process. Designed for high-volume production, these systems maximize output by tightly controlling product flow and case handling at every stage. Best suited for uniform products and stable pack patterns, they deliver exceptional throughput, reduced material usage, and optimized line efficiency.
Keep products and cases moving throughout the loading process, controlling energy transfer and reducing cycle time. Products are grouped and eased into cases or trays from above. Changeovers are completed quickly with roll-away modules for each product or configuration.
We offer three laning options that can be integrated with our Top-Load Case Packers:
- Model 2200 Laner: integrated into the frame of the Top-Load Case Packer
- Model 2210 Laner: added to conveyor before case packer for speeds up to 150 fpm
- Model 2260 Global Laner: added to conveyor before case packer for speeds up too 200 fpm
Removes containers from cases and transfers them necks-up onto a live discharge conveyor with an integrated single-filer.
Integrates seamlessly with Top-Load Case Packers to provide case-top sealing after packing.
Top-Load Case Packing
Each case packer is built to align with specific production requirements, supporting a range of speeds and lane configurations. Designed for efficient operation, each model features fast, easy changeover to minimize downtime between runs, supported by a virtual changeover guide that helps operators complete adjustments with confidence and consistency.
Model 875
Cost effective option for speeds less than 30 cases per minute.
Model 2800
Supports speeds up to 120 cases per minute with Parallel Pack option.
Model 2900
Uses independently driven lanes to eliminates product shingling.
Air Transfer
Innovative Product Handling: Airbags in each lane inflate around products to gently shift them from their lanes to the proper position for transfer to cases.
Versatile Compatibility: Capable of handling various materials including glass, HDPE, PET, and paper board products, as well as a wide range of sizes, and shapes.
Delicate and Precise Control: Ensures low-pressure handling to protect sensitive products like glass and paper products from damage.
Lowering Head
Precision Control: The grid precisely lowers products into their cases using servo-driven technology, ensuring accurate placement and reducing the risk of damage.
Gentle Product Handling: Designed for both glass and plastic containers, ensuring product integrity during packing, even with delicate or lightweight items.
Enhanced Speed and Versatility: The lowering head increases efficiency by keeping cases stationary, optimizing handling for splits required in multi-case configurations.
Placehead
Precise and Versatile Handling: Accurately places pressure-sensitive products into cases with gripper options for various container types, ensuring careful handling.
Minimized Drop Impact: Incorporates “place packing” technology to reduce the drop distance, enhancing product safety and packing precision.
Adaptable Bypass Mode: The modular system enables the placehead portion to be toggled off, allowing for a seamless transition from place packing to drop packing when needed.
Tray/Wrap-Around Case Packing
Engineered by Meurer, built by ITW Hartness. This continuous-motion system is engineered for demanding envirnments, forming trays or wraparound cases around products in a single, streamlined process.
Model HTW
Combines robust construction with advanced servocontrol for precision, reliability, and connectivity at speeds up to 65 cases per minute.
Model 2800
Designed for efficient tray packing with smooth, reliable operation at speeds up to 30 cases per minute.
Continuous-Motion Case Packing
Achieves high packing speed by easing bottles into the
case or tray in a non-stop feed. Continuous motion keeps bottles flowing smoothly into trays, cases, or crates.
Model 2650
Roll‑away modules make it easy to shift products as quickly as production demands, with changeovers completed in five minutes or less.
Auxiliary
Model 2200 Laner
Utilizes product clamping to control backpressure, and organizes containers into up to eight lanes at speeds up to 150 fpm.
Model 2260 Global Laner
Utilizes a telescopic guide to shift products into up to six lanes, without clamping, at speeds up to 200 fpm.
Model 1760 Case Top Sealer
Integrates seamlessly with the outfeed of any of our Top-Load Case Packers with optional reject and intelligent light kit.
Model 1100 Decaser
Removes containers from cases and transfers them necks-up onto a live discharge conveyor with an integrated single-filer.
