Martin Gilchrist
Director of Strategic Marketing
As a key member of the leadership team, Martin Gilchrist serves as the Strategic Marketing Director at ITW Hartness.
Martin is responsible for driving the development and execution of end market focused strategies and all marketing and product management activities for the division. Key responsibilities include having a deep understanding of the voice of the customer, market and technology trends, identification and assessment of significant growth opportunities, and creating and implementing strategies that deliver profitable market share and drive customer backed innovation.
Martin spent 5 years leading Mechanical Engineering and R&D teams as Engineering Manager prior to taking on the Strategic marketing role. Before joining ITW, Martin spent nineteen years at GE where he held various progressively increasing leadership roles.
Martin graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from University of South Carolina.
