Jeff Miller is the Vice President and General Manager for ITW Hartness, a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW).

With more than six (6) years of ITW experience, Jeff is highly regarded for his ability to deliver results through continuous learning, effective execution, and a collaborative leadership style. He is also adept in leveraging the core tenants of the ITW business model to deliver bottom-line growth. He has held several roles of increasing responsibility across the ITW Appliance Components and Construction Products segments, where he helped grow the division revenue by more than 20%. Now responsible for leading ITW Hartness – part of the Specialty Products segment – Jeff brings his diverse commercial and engineering background and passion for manufacturing to a growing division.

Prior to his tenure with ITW, Jeff spent the first 20 years of his career at Whirlpool. Working his way through several engineering and operations positions, he transitioned to leadership roles in product development in North America, Europe, and globally.

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. He also earned his MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Newly relocated to the Greenville area, Jeff and his wife, Misty, enjoy hiking, running, and traveling in their spare time. They look forward to experiencing all the South Carolina upstate has to offer.
