Mica is the Engineering director for ITW Hartness, a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW).

As a key member of the leadership team, Mica has full responsibility for all Engineering functions, including Mechanical, Electrical and Controls Design Engineering (Project-related and R&D), Application Engineering, Project Management, and Site Management.

Prior to joining ITW, Mica held various Engineering and management roles in the Power Generation and Automotive fields.  Mica’s prior roles include Mechanical Engineering at FPL Energy, R&D Design Engineering at Ford Motor Company (alternate energy propulsion at Ford Research Laboratories), Design Engineering at Freightliner Custom Chassis (a division of Daimler/Chrysler), Design Engineering at GE Power (accessory systems), and most recently as the Senior Manager of Global Fluid Systems Engineering at GE Power (fluid system design for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators).

Mica is a native of Panama City, Florida.  He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Mica and his family reside in Anderson, SC. In his spare time, Mica enjoys spending time with his family, boating, traveling, and home-based mechanical projects (restoration of cars, boats, motorcycles, RV’s, etc.).
